A good day doesn’t stop at one spot. Start at a park, stop by the local shop, find out what’s happening nearby.

This is the experience we’re building. The live map is coming next.

Built around a skater’s point of view. Not a marketer’s idea of skating.

Willy Lara is helping lead the vision for SKATEMAPS. From his roots in Moorpark to skating and filming around the world, he knows a spot is only part of the story.

We’re bringing that perspective into the product: what makes a place skateable, who keeps the scene alive, and how to help more people get a good session in.

A few things to know

BEFORE WE DROP IN.

Can I download the app yet?

Not yet. We’re shaping the first version and inviting skaters, shops, and organizers to help us prioritize. Join the list and we’ll share updates as the project moves forward.

Will this expose private or sensitive spots?

That’s not the goal. Our approach starts with public parks, permission-aware listings, and respect for local communities. Precise locations should not be published when access is private, sensitive, or unconfirmed.

I run a skate shop or host events. Can I get involved?

Absolutely. Choose Shop or Organizer when you join. We want to understand what helps your scene before building tools around it.

Where will SKATEMAPS launch first?

We’re starting with a focused pilot, not an empty worldwide map. Early interest and local relationships will help determine the first area. Tell us your city in the signup form.
